Search MiHC's full scholarship list — general & national opportunities plus Michigan college and university awards — and build a quick profile (grade level, GPA, interests) to see which ones fit you best first. This list is maintained by MiHC's college access team and updates automatically as they add and revise scholarships.
How this tool works
Where the data comes from
Every scholarship here is pulled live from the same Google Sheet MiHC's college access team already maintains — one tab of general/national scholarships, one tab of Michigan college and university-specific awards. When staff add, edit, or remove a row in that sheet, this page reflects it automatically the next time someone loads it — no one needs to touch this page's code. If the live connection is ever unavailable (for example, while previewing this page outside mihc.org), it falls back to the most recent saved copy of the list, and says so in the banner at the top.
How matching works
The profile panel never leaves your browser — nothing is saved or transmitted. Your grade level, GPA, interests, and location are compared against each scholarship's own eligibility text and used to score and sort results, not to hide them outright (except grade level for general scholarships, and the two toggles, which do filter). A GPA or keyword that doesn't match is flagged rather than removed, since eligibility text is free-form and a strict filter would hide real matches on a technicality. Always confirm eligibility, deadlines, and award amounts directly with each scholarship's own application before relying on this tool.
Saving a list
Click the star (☆) on any scholarship to add it to My list, shown as a count at the top of the results. My list switches the page to show just what you've starred. Print / save my list opens your browser's print dialog with a clean, ink-friendly version of that list (or, if nothing's starred yet, whatever's currently showing) — choose "Save as PDF" there to keep a copy or share it with your MiHC coach. Email me my list opens your own email app with your starred scholarships, their deadlines, and application links already written into a new message — address it to yourself (or anyone else) and hit send from there; this page never sends anything on its own. Nothing is stored on MiHC's end either way — closing the tab clears your list, so print, save, or email before you go.
Keeping it current
To add, edit, or retire a scholarship, MiHC staff edit the shared Google Sheet directly — this page (and any copy of it embedded on mihc.org) picks up the change automatically. No republishing required.
